I am originally from Lausanne, Switzerland (near Geneva). I have lived in the US since 1992 and became a US citizen in 2000. As a child, I loved painting, sewing and knitting, glass engraving, ink drawing, cross-stitching, and all types of crafts. I always had to create something. My big dream was about carving animals in wood, which I was not allowed to do because my father thought it was too dangerous.
I hold a bachelor degree in graphic design, skills that I used to become a web designer in 1999. In 2002, I founded my web agency, Sheffield Media Group, with the idea of bringing beauty and excellence to the website industry. I was recognized with significant awards from Macromedia/Adobe, Yahoo and ASTA. I was also an adjunct professor for 5 years teaching web design.
It is only later, that I stumbled upon painting. Watercolor at first, as oil painting seemed too daunting. I finally dared to explore oil and found my passion. I have studied at the Art Students League of New York and the Washington Art Association in Washington, Ct.
Two years in a row, I attended the copyist program at the Metropolitan Museum of Art of New York.
Mine is a life of creativity, love, gratitude, and abundance.
I love my life,
